Regenerative Agriculture, Not Factory Farming
We raise our cattle the way nature intended—on pasture, rotating across healthy land, mimicking natural grazing patterns that heal the soil instead of depleting it. Every animal at Land & Liberty is part of a larger mission: to fix what's broken in our food system and restore food freedom to American families.
Our cattle aren't just livestock—they're land healers. Through rotational grazing and regenerative practices, our Beefmaster cattle build organic matter in the soil, sequester carbon, and create healthier pastures with every season. This isn't greenwashing. This is authentic stewardship.
100% Grass-Fed, Grain-Finished
Our cattle spend their entire lives on pasture, grazing across over 1,000 acres of Tennessee farmland. For the final 45-60 days, we introduce a carefully managed grain finish to optimize flavor, tenderness, and marbling—eliminating any grassy taste while maintaining all the nutritional benefits of grass-fed beef.
What This Means for You:
- Superior omega-3 fatty acid profile from grass-fed raising
- Optimal tenderness and flavor from grain finishing
- No hormones, ever
- No antibiotics, ever
- No herbicides or pesticides on our pastures
Our Cattle: Beefmaster Breed
We chose Beefmaster cattle specifically for Tennessee's climate and our regenerative approach. Unlike trendy breeds that struggle in Southern heat, Beefmasters thrive in our environment—meaning healthier, happier animals and better beef for your family.
Beefmasters are known for their hardiness, efficient grazing, and exceptional meat quality. They're built for pasture life, not feedlot confinement.
Our Mission: Land, Liberty, and Real Food
Land & Liberty Meat Co. exists to prove that agriculture can heal instead of harm. We believe Americans shouldn't be beholden to corporate consolidation for their food supply. We believe land ownership comes with the responsibility to improve it for future generations. And we believe nutrient-dense, chemical-free food is a right, not a luxury.
We're not here to compete with Walmart. We're here to serve families who want to know their farmer, support local agriculture, and take back control of what goes on their dinner table.
This is food sovereignty. This is regenerative beef done right. This is Land & Liberty.
GOOD MEAT, RAISED THE WAY IT SHOULD BE
Our beef and pork aren’t products of a factory—they’re the result of patience, good land, and honest work. Every animal is raised on open Tennessee pastures, grazing the way nature intended. No hormones, no antibiotics, no shortcuts—just real food from real farmers who care about what ends up on your table. You’ll taste the difference in every cut: fuller flavor, cleaner quality, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly where your food comes from.
General Questions
How is the beef packaged?
All cuts are individually vacuum-sealed and clearly labeled with the cut name and weight. Your box arrives in insulated packaging (for shipping) or organized in a sturdy box for easy freezer storage. We also include cooking tips and recipe ideas to help you make the most of your beef.
What does "farmer's choice based on availability" mean?
For boxes like the Family Box and Slow Cooker Box, we select the specific cuts based on what's currently available from our harvest. You'll always get the weight and variety promised, but the exact cuts may vary. This allows us to reduce waste and give you the freshest product possible.
For example, you might get Chuck Roast one month and Rump Roast the next—both excellent cuts, just different options.
What's the difference between your boxes and buying a bulk share?
Boxes are ready to ship immediately, require less freezer space, and let you try our beef without a large commitment. They're perfect for smaller households or first-time customers.
Bulk Shares offer better value per pound, let you customize your cuts, and fill your freezer for months. They require a deposit and 4-5 weeks for processing, but you'll save money and have complete control.
How do I know if my beef will arrive frozen?
We pack all shipped orders with dry ice in heavy-duty insulated containers. We only ship Monday-Wednesday to guarantee 2-day delivery before the weekend. Your beef will arrive frozen solid—if for any reason it doesn't, contact us immediately and we'll make it right.
Can I subscribe to regular deliveries?
Yes! Our Family Box and Ground Beef Box both offer subscription options. You'll save money, never run out of premium beef, and can pause, skip, or cancel anytime. Subscribers also get priority access to limited inventory.
