Regenerative Agriculture, Not Factory Farming

We raise our cattle the way nature intended—on pasture, rotating across healthy land, mimicking natural grazing patterns that heal the soil instead of depleting it. Every animal at Land & Liberty is part of a larger mission: to fix what's broken in our food system and restore food freedom to American families.

Our cattle aren't just livestock—they're land healers. Through rotational grazing and regenerative practices, our Beefmaster cattle build organic matter in the soil, sequester carbon, and create healthier pastures with every season. This isn't greenwashing. This is authentic stewardship.

100% Grass-Fed, Grain-Finished

Our cattle spend their entire lives on pasture, grazing across over 1,000 acres of Tennessee farmland. For the final 45-60 days, we introduce a carefully managed grain finish to optimize flavor, tenderness, and marbling—eliminating any grassy taste while maintaining all the nutritional benefits of grass-fed beef.

What This Means for You:

  • Superior omega-3 fatty acid profile from grass-fed raising
  • Optimal tenderness and flavor from grain finishing
  • No hormones, ever
  • No antibiotics, ever
  • No herbicides or pesticides on our pastures

Our Cattle: Beefmaster Breed

We chose Beefmaster cattle specifically for Tennessee's climate and our regenerative approach. Unlike trendy breeds that struggle in Southern heat, Beefmasters thrive in our environment—meaning healthier, happier animals and better beef for your family.

Beefmasters are known for their hardiness, efficient grazing, and exceptional meat quality. They're built for pasture life, not feedlot confinement.

Our Mission: Land, Liberty, and Real Food

Land & Liberty Meat Co. exists to prove that agriculture can heal instead of harm. We believe Americans shouldn't be beholden to corporate consolidation for their food supply. We believe land ownership comes with the responsibility to improve it for future generations. And we believe nutrient-dense, chemical-free food is a right, not a luxury.

We're not here to compete with Walmart. We're here to serve families who want to know their farmer, support local agriculture, and take back control of what goes on their dinner table.

This is food sovereignty. This is regenerative beef done right. This is Land & Liberty.

GOOD MEAT, RAISED THE WAY IT SHOULD BE

Our beef and pork aren’t products of a factory—they’re the result of patience, good land, and honest work. Every animal is raised on open Tennessee pastures, grazing the way nature intended. No hormones, no antibiotics, no shortcuts—just real food from real farmers who care about what ends up on your table. You’ll taste the difference in every cut: fuller flavor, cleaner quality, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing exactly where your food comes from.

General Questions

How much freezer space do I need?

Here's what we recommend:

  • Whole Beef (400 lbs): 16-20 cubic feet
  • Half Beef (200 lbs): 8-10 cubic feet
  • Quarter Beef (100 lbs): 4-5 cubic feet
  • Eighth Beef (50 lbs): 2-3 cubic feet

For reference, a standard chest freezer is typically 15-20 cubic feet. If you're unsure, measure your freezer or contact us—we're happy to help you figure it out.

How long will this last my family?

It depends on your family size and how often you eat beef, but here's a general guide:

  • Quarter Beef (100 lbs): 3-4 months for a family of 4 eating beef 2-3 times per week
  • Half Beef (200 lbs): 6-8 months for a family of 4
  • Whole Beef (400 lbs): 12-16 months for a family of 4

What's the difference between grass-fed and grain-finished?

Great question! Our cattle are 100% grass-fed their entire lives—they live on pasture and eat natural forage. For the final 45-60 days, we introduce a grain finish to optimize flavor, tenderness, and marbling while eliminating any "grassy" taste.

You get all the health benefits of grass-fed beef (higher omega-3s, better nutrient density) with the superior flavor and tenderness of grain-finishing. It's the best of both worlds.

Can I customize my cuts?

Yes! You have three options:

  • Steakhouse Cut Sheet: Features T-bones and classic steakhouse cuts
  • Land & Liberty Standard Cut Sheet: Our signature cuts including Filets and Texas Strips
  • Custom Cut Sheet (+$75): Tell us exactly how you want your beef cut—steak thickness, roast sizes, bone-in vs. boneless, and more. Available for Whole, Half, and Quarter shares only.

After you order, we'll send you a detailed form to specify your preferences.

When will I get my beef?

Please allow 4-5 weeks from the time you place your order to fulfillment. We hand-select your beef, arrange processing with our USDA processor, and ensure everything is cut, vacuum-sealed, and frozen to perfection.

You'll receive an email notification when your beef is ready, and we'll coordinate pickup or delivery at your convenience.

What are the payment terms?

We require a deposit at the time of order to secure your beef and cover processing costs. The remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery.

  • Whole Beef: $1,200 deposit | $3,597 balance
  • Half Beef: $800 deposit | $1,598 balance
  • Quarter Beef: $500 deposit | $750 balance
  • Eighth Beef: $250 deposit | $400 balance

Is your beef really hormone and antibiotic-free?

Absolutely. We never use hormones or antibiotics—ever. Our cattle are raised on clean pastures with no herbicides or pesticides. What you're getting is clean, nutrient-dense beef the way it should be.

Can I split a share with a friend or family member?

Absolutely! Many customers split Half or Whole shares. Just coordinate with your friend on cut preferences, and we can even divide the beef into separate packages if needed. Contact us and we'll work it out.
